SA Design (SA352): CarTech’s “Ford FE Engines: How to Rebuild”

Manufactured from the late 1950s through the mid-1970s, Ford FE engines served as the large-displacement drivers in the Ford lineup. With the FE standing for “Ford Edsel,” these engines were designed to increase displacement over the earlier Y-Block engines.
