ACT offers a wide range of options for most applications, ranging from street use to all-out racing.They uses state-of-the art material element analysis and laboratory testing to make various clutches, kits, and flywheels used by motorsports enthusiasts at many levels. Each ACT clutch product has been tested for clamp load, friction, pedal feel, and working range among others, to achieve the very best performance.

ACT PRESSURE PLATES

  • All are dynamically computer balanced for smooth operation at high RPM
  • Casts are CNC-machined for greater consistency and precision
  • Available in a variety of designs, including all factory push, pull, crimp & rivet designs
  • Feature a single-diaphragm (4-stage, heat-treating process) design to dramatically increase clamp load without the adverse effects of the double-diaphragm type clutches – reduces deflection and maximizes clutch life

STREET DISCS

  • Premium friction material for better-heat tolerance and faster recovery from overheating
  • Highest grade consistency & precision with dedicated tooling for precision stamping parts
  • Spring retainer features wrap-around spring windows to provide support and reduce stress concentrations
  • Right amount of cushions between linings for good engagement without sacrificing performance

RACE DISCS

  • All drive plates consist of high-carbon spring steel heat-treat and black-zinc plated to resist bending, cracking, fatiguing and rusting, even under severe racing conditions
  • Premium ceramic friction material for high-heat tolerance and high coefficient of friction and low wear rates
  • Highest grade consistency & precision with dedicated tooling for precision stamping parts
  • Spring retainer features wrap-around spring windows to provide support and reduce stress concentrations
  • Heavy duty torsional dampening springs are stronger in most cases than standard springs and are provided in the best sizes and spring rates to suit the application
  • Most spring centered assemblies use bushing and cone springs to increase frictional dampening which reduces noise and extends clutch life
