Each TCI® transmission package consists of a triple-tested TCI® transmission and precision-tuned TCI® torque converter.
Also included is a universal transmission cooler and three gallons of premium TCI® Max Shift™ Street Performance Transmission Fluid.
These transmissions are shipped without the speedometer driven gear or it’s housing. If replacing the same model of transmission, these may be re-used from existing. If not, they must be purchased separately.
StreetFighter® Transmission Package
TCI® Street/Race Transmissions are strong enough to withstand the rigors of the toughest street machines with some models capable of handling up to 450 horsepower and others capable of up to 550 hprsepower using pump gasoline.
Equipped with a TCI® manual/automatic valve body, most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. In either mode, you get a racetrack shift that bangs through the gears and shaves time off your et’s. 700R4, 2004R and AOD StreetFighter® Transmissions feature a TCI® Constant Pressure Valve Body™ to ensure that clutches and bands are applied firmly to eliminate slippage.

Street Rodder™ Transmission Package
Street rodders have their own set of performance standards when it comes to transmissions, and TCI® has the perfect solution for street cruisers who want excellent street performance and long lasting durability.
Using the highest quality TCI® manufactured components, each Street Rodder™ package is equipped with an automatic valve body and improver kit that allow you to achieve firmer, yet not too harsh shifts in the vehicle while remaining fully automatic and retaining the stock shift pattern. Each Street Rodder™ Transmission goes through a variety of tests to verify that internal fluid pressures and shift characteristic match our strict quality control standards. For the system to operate properly, all throttle linkage, vacuum lines and kick-down components must be connected.

Elastomer Harmonic Balancers
These TCI elastomer harmonic balancers feature a super-strong billet black steel inertia ring for longer life and better performance.
The high-quality bonded rubber eliminates outer ring movement, which is a traditional weakness of previous elastomer balancers.
All balancers have been SFI-approved and tested up to 12,000 rpm.
